Richard showed my husband and I through a property about eight months ago. We had never met him before, but we were impressed with his knowledge of the property. In our experience it is common for agents to say “I’m not sure sorry, but I will check with the owner and get back to you”. Although this is a likely response, we liked the fact that Richard did have a lot of knowledge on the property. It was clear he had ‘done his homework’. When it came time to sell our property, we thought about who we felt would do the best job. We know a couple of agents in Waihi, and it can sometimes seem the easy option to go with someone you already know. But, we thought back to our earlier dealing with Richard, and contacted him. He came to visit us, then returned with a proposal. During this process Richard was informative, helpful and knowledgeable. We decided he was the right person for us. We were working within a (very) tight timeframe to get our property on the market and sold, in order to purchase a property we had an offer in on. It was clear Richard worked very hard for us in those early stages, to give us the best opportunity for a successful outcome. I am pleased to say he delivered on everything he said he would, and more. We had a multi-offer in on our property within about seven days of going on the market, and as you know are now unconditional and getting ready to move into our new property in September. Throughout this entire process Richard has been excellent with his communication. He responds to messages immediately, he explained things to us well (in an easy to understand manner) and in our opinion, has been brilliant. We would absolutely recommend him to any of our friends who are thinking of selling their property, and we would use him again without hesitation, if and when it’s time for us to move on (hopefully not too soon!).
